When the conditions get rough is when this jacket really outranks the competition, keeping 92% of its insulation properties even when the weather gets wet.
How does it work?
The face and liner of the Double Dunfri is made in Spinner Ripstop, a light and durable fabric made from 100% recycled polyester. PrimaLoft® Black Insulation RISE is an insulation at the forefront of technology, made from 100% recycled polyester. We use synthetic insulation not only for the performance benefits but also because we don’t believe birds should suffer for our comfort’s sake. PrimaLoft® Black Insulation RISE has a similar warmth-to-weight ratio as down and a wonderful soft feeling. Where this insulation really shines is in damp conditions. The PrimaLoft® Black Insulation RISE will still keep almost all of its warmth since it doesn’t get wet even when the weather does.
When should I use it?
With its minimalistic looks and cutting edge performance, Double Dunfri will be your go-to piece for any cold adventure. Designed for a life in the mountains, but working equally well for an everyday use in the city. Wear it pre and post activities, for belaying, lighter hikes or your daily commute.
